Astonishing VIRTUES AND blessings OF THE SIX KALMAS
[Muhammad Junaid; RAWALPINDI]
Who is worthy of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH’s mediation?
Narrated HazratJabbar RA: Prophet Muhammad PBUH said that the most superior zikr (remembrance of Allah) of all is لاالہ الا اللہ LA ILAHA ILL-ALLAH and amongst all supplications is الحمدللہ ALHUMDULILLAH – MishkatShareef
Hazrat Abu Hurairah: I inquired from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH:
"O Messenger of Allah, who will be the most fortunate of people to receive your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?" The Prophet PBUH replied, “The most fortunate of people to receive my intercession on the Day of Resurrection are those who recited: La لاالہ الا اللہ ilaha ill-Allah purely and sincerely from the heart" – Sahih Al-Bukhari
Narrated Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA: Prophet Muhammad PBUH said that keep reinstating your emaan. When we asked that how we can reinstate our emaan, He said recite the kalma frequently. – TabaraniShareef
Narrated HazratMaaz Bin Jabal RA: Prophet Muhammed PBUH said that the evidence of Kalma is the key to heaven - MishkatShareef
Narrated Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar RA: Prophet Muhammad PBUH said that On the Day of Resurrection, of all the followers, Allah will call one in front of everyone, the record of whose sins fills 99 books. Allah will ask him any excuse for it. The follower shall reply that O Creator! I have no excuse. Allah will then say we have an act of your righteousness. A piece of paper shall be taken on which the kalma is written. 99 record-books of sin shall be placed on one scale and the piece of paper with kalma on the other; it will outweigh all the rest. This piece of paper shall be heavy than the record-books. – TirmiziShareef
Third kalma is based on praising Allah. Its importance has been explained in many hadeeths.
Prophet Muhammad PBUH said:
Who amongst you can do a deed every day equal to mount Uhud?
Sahabah R.A. submitted:
O Rasulallah!
Who has the ability to do a deed every day, like that of Uhud?
He (PBUH) replied:
Every one of you has ability to do this.
The Sahabah (R.A.) asked:
O Rasulallah ! (PBUH)
What is that?
He (PBUH) said:
The reward for Subhanallah is more than Uhud!
(Glory be to Allah Who is above all faults)
The reward for Alhamdulillah is more than Uhud!
(Praise be to Allah)
The reward for لا الہ الااللہ La ilaha ill-Allah is more than Uhud!
(There is none worthy of worship except Allah)
The reward for Allahu Akbar is more than Uhud!
(Allah is Greatest) - Tabarani
Our Prophet (PBUH) remarked that the one, who will recite لا الہ الااللہ LA ILAHA ILL-ALLAH with devotion, will go to heaven. Somebody asked our Prophet (PBUH) what is devotion? Our Prophet (PBUH) said that quitting conduct of haram.
Prophet PBUH also said that when anyone recites لا الہ الااللہ LA ILAHA ILL-ALLAH from the depth of his heart, the gates of the heavens open for the Kalma till it reaches the seventh heaven provided, of course, that the devotee abstains from the major sins. – Tirmizi
Fifth Kalma is based on craving mercy.Astaghfaar means to ask Allah for forgiveness and to repent. The virtue of this act has been mentioned in many hadeeths.
Our Prophet (PBUH) said to reciteلا الہ الااللہ LA ILAHA ILLALLAH and Astaghfaar frequently as Satan says that I destroyed people through sins and people destroyed me by لا الہ الااللہ LA ILAHA ILLALLAH and Astaghfaar. According to the Satan, by looking at this I fooled them in self-desires while they thought they were on the right path. (Saheeh al-Jaami as-Sagheer).
In the sixth Kalma, a Muslim asks Allah for protection from disbelief, polytheism, falsehood, backbiting, innovation (bid’at), tell-tales, vulgarity, blame, disobedience and many other sins. Ingratitude makes a person aloof from Allah. Lie creates hypocrisy in ones attitude. Similar to how fire burns wood, backbiting and aspersing others clears the good deeds of a person. Vulgarity results in making a person loose his modesty, integrity and chasteness. A believer is reinstated in this Kalma to keep begging to Allah for His protection in every condition so that his belief and God-fearing may remain intact.
